Burgess Excel Guinea Pig brings the same evidence-based nutritional philosophy as the Excel rabbit range to guinea pig feeding. The high-fibre formula includes grass and hay components that support healthy digestion and the continuous dental wear that guinea pigs require. The single nugget format eliminates selective feeding, ensuring your guinea pig receives a complete and balanced diet at every meal.

Critically, vitamin C is added to every nugget — guinea pigs cannot synthesise this essential vitamin and must receive it daily through their diet. Deficiency leads to scurvy, which can develop rapidly. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

FEEDING GUIDE

Offer approximately 20–25g per day as the dry component, alongside unlimited hay and fresh leafy greens high in vitamin C (such as kale, romaine lettuce or red pepper). Fresh water always available.
