DESCRIPTION

Copdock Mill is a well-regarded British feed mill, and their chick crumbs provide a complete, high-protein starter feed for young birds from hatching through to the transition to grower or pullet pellets. The fine crumb texture is specifically designed for tiny beaks, making it easy for chicks to pick up and digest from day one.

Suitable for a range of young poultry including chickens, pheasants, quail and ducks. The high protein content supports the rapid muscle and feather development that chicks need in their first weeks of life. This 5kg bag is ideal for small broods or as a trial size.

FEEDING TIP: Offer ad lib from day one. Provide in a shallow chick feeder or spread on paper or a flat tray for the first few days so chicks can easily access it. Always provide clean, fresh water from a chick drinker — not a standard water bowl where chicks can drown. Transition to growers pellets or crumb at around 4–6 weeks.
