DESCRIPTION

Koi are larger, more active fish than standard goldfish and have correspondingly higher nutritional requirements — particularly for protein, which supports their more substantial muscle mass and faster growth rate. Extra Select Koi Sticks are formulated with this in mind, delivering a higher protein content than a general-purpose pond stick to properly fuel koi through the active season.

The floating stick format encourages surface feeding, which makes it easy to observe your koi regularly — an important habit for monitoring health and condition in these often high-value fish. A 5kg bag provides excellent value for a well-stocked koi pond.

FEEDING GUIDE

Feed 2–3 times daily during warm weather (water temperature above 15°C). Reduce to once daily in cooler conditions (10–15°C). Stop feeding entirely when temperatures drop below 10°C. Offer only what koi will consume within 5 minutes. Overfeeding is one of the most common causes of poor water quality in koi ponds.
