DESCRIPTION

Peanuts are one of the most energy-dense wild bird foods available — packed with protein and natural oils that give birds the sustained energy they need, particularly through cold months when natural food is scarce. Our peanuts are aflatoxin-tested, ensuring they're safe for garden birds.

Peanuts should always be offered whole in a mesh peanut feeder (not loose on a table) from spring through summer, to prevent large pieces being taken to nestlings who can choke on them. In autumn and winter they can be offered more freely. A firm favourite with tits, woodpeckers and nuthatches.

FEEDING TIP: Always use a proper mesh peanut feeder — not a wire one where birds can pull out large pieces. Never offer salted, flavoured or dry-roasted peanuts. Clean feeders regularly as peanuts can go rancid in warm weather.
