The single-nugget format is critically important — unlike traditional muesli-style mixes, every nugget in Science Selective is nutritionally identical, meaning your guinea pig cannot pick out the sugary, tasty bits and leave the rest. This prevents selective feeding and ensures a consistent, complete diet at every meal.

The formula is high in fibre, which supports healthy gut motility and the dental wear that guinea pigs need — their teeth grow continuously and require the abrasion of fibrous food to stay the correct length. Critically, the recipe includes added vitamin C, an essential nutrient that guinea pigs cannot produce themselves and must obtain from their diet. FEEDING GUIDE
